Finding the Right Size
At Varaweb, we aim to help customers make informed sizing decisions when shopping for clothing and fashion accessories.
Our store offers women's clothing, everyday apparel, bags, hats, accessories, and selected lifestyle products. Sizing and fit may vary depending on the product, design, material, and manufacturer.
This Size Guide provides general guidance on taking measurements and selecting sizes. It does not replace the specific sizing information provided on individual product pages.
Understanding Product Sizes
Clothing products may be available in letter sizes, numerical sizes, or other sizing systems, depending on the item.
Size labels such as XS, S, M, L, and XL do not necessarily represent identical measurements across different products.
We recommend reviewing product-specific measurements, sizing information, and available options before completing your purchase.
Body Measurements vs. Garment Measurements
When reviewing sizing information, it is important to understand the difference between body measurements and garment measurements.
Body Measurements
Body measurements refer to measurements taken directly around or along your body, such as your bust, waist, hips, or inseam.
Garment Measurements
Garment measurements refer to the dimensions of the actual clothing item, which may be measured while the garment is laid flat or using another specified method.
Garment measurements may differ from body measurements because clothing requires different amounts of wearing ease depending on the intended fit, material, and design.
Where measurement information is provided, check whether it refers to the body or the garment before selecting a size. If the measurement type or method is unclear, please contact us for clarification.
How to Measure Your Body
For more accurate measurements, use a flexible measuring tape and stand naturally. Keep the measuring tape comfortably close to your body without pulling it too tightly.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape level across your back.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Keep the measuring tape relaxed.
Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Shoulder Width
Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other, following your natural shoulder line.
Sleeve Length
Measure from your shoulder point down the outside of your arm to your wrist, keeping your arm slightly bent.
Inseam
Measure from the top of your inner leg down to your ankle or the desired trouser length.
How to Choose Clothing Sizes
Compare your body measurements with the measurements or sizing guidance provided for the specific product, where available.
Pay attention to the garment's described fit, such as fitted, regular, relaxed, or oversized, when that information is provided.
Stretch, fabric composition, garment construction, and personal fit preferences may affect how an item feels when worn.
If you are between sizes, review the product's fit description and measurements before deciding. There is no single sizing recommendation that applies to every garment.
Dresses and Tops
For dresses, shirts, blouses, jackets, and other upper-body garments, bust, waist, shoulder, and sleeve measurements may be relevant depending on the design.
For fitted dresses, hip measurements may also be important.
Check the individual product description for applicable measurements and fit information.
Pants, Skirts, and Bottoms
For trousers, jeans, skirts, and other bottoms, waist and hip measurements are generally useful when comparing sizing options.
Inseam and garment length may also be relevant depending on the style.
Different designs may fit differently, even when they share the same size label.
Hats and Accessories
For hats, measure around your head at the position where the hat will normally sit.
Some accessories may be adjustable or offered in a single size. Please review the relevant product details for available dimensions and fit information.
Bags and Other Non-Clothing Products
Bags and other non-clothing products may have dimensions rather than clothing sizes.
Where provided, review the product's height, width, depth, strap length, capacity, or other relevant measurements to determine whether the item meets your needs.
Measurement Units
Product measurements may be displayed in inches (in), centimeters (cm), or both.
For reference, 1 inch equals 2.54 centimeters.
Check the measurement units shown on the individual product page before comparing sizes.
Size and Fit Variations
Actual garment measurements may differ slightly from published measurements due to manufacturing tolerances, measurement methods, fabric characteristics, or product construction.
We recommend relying on the specific product information rather than assuming that the same labeled size will fit identically across different items.
Product images and model styling are intended to illustrate the item's appearance. The fit on an individual customer may differ depending on body measurements and personal preferences.
